Melissa was born and raised in Colorado. She has been an established artist since 1990. Her body of work consists of wildlife sculpture and reflects her love of nature. From monumental size cougars and bears to tabletop bunnies, Melissa has the ability to capture the spirit of life and emotion in each of her sculptures. She calls her style ' realistic impressionism'. She uses patina to express additional texture.
