Embroli is a mature renaissance artist working in mixed media on canvas, on paper, and in sculpture. Since moving to the Southwest, he has allowed the spiritual and visual atmosphere to permeate his work; visible in the boldness of his palette and the sheer space within the picture plane. Partially obscure forms, rough textures and the remnants of past cultures, allow the enriched color found in Egyptian and Roman ruins to hold a spiritual thread connecting the entire piece.
